The R5 is FistFPV’s first frame — built for racers who demand durability without extra weight. After a year of development we sent dozens of prototype sets to 21 top FPV racing pilots and ran hundreds of test flights and PID tune sessions. The result: a compact, race-focused frame that feels fast, stays durable, and is a pleasure to build.

Practical compatibility
R5 was made to fit modern race stacks and VTx options. It easily accepts HDZero Race V2/V3 or analog VTx layouts and leaves room for common ESC/FC stacks and battery placements — a clean, flexible build experience.
